As we begin the new year, Probo Medical is pleased to announce the new appointment of Leon Parsons as European Managing Director. Leon brings with him more than 26 years of experience in the medical industry, offering a well-rounded understanding of sales, engineering, leadership, and global healthcare markets.

Leon began his career as a trainee engineer and then continued the majority of his time in the industry at Bayer Healthcare and Philips Medical, where he gained extensive experience across medical imaging systems, operations, and commercial strategy. Leon later went on to create and run as Managing Director Future Medical, which was then successfully acquired by Probo Medical in 2020. Over the past 6 years Leon has been leading the international team as Global Head of Radiology, prior to moving to the Managing director’s role.

In his new role as Managing Director, Leon will be responsible for leading Probo’s European operations and strategic direction. His focus will be on accelerating business growth throughout 2026, with particular emphasis on revenue generation across system sales, parts, distribution, and service and maintenance. Probo Medical looks forward to the leadership and expertise Leon will bring to this role and the future development of the business.
