Reporting to: Workshop Supervisor / Lead Ultrasound Engineer
Job Summary: The Probe Repair Technician is responsible for testing, inspecting, and performing repairs on a wide range of multi-vendor ultrasound probes meeting high-quality standards. This role involves accurately booking incoming probes into the electronic system, managing workflow through priority test queues, and updating product testing information in Salesforce. The technician will also assist with cosmetic repairs, ensuring all probes are returned to a high-quality, professional finish. Attention to detail, technical aptitude, and strong organisational skills are essential to maintain efficiency and uphold Probo Medical’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities:
- To accurately book in Ultrasound probes arriving at Probo Medical using the relevant electronic system and allocate them to the correct person/location To prepare and package items being sent out to both engineers and customers.
- To produce delivery/collection notes for these items and arrange collections with the relevant logistics companies Updating the product testing pages on Salesforce in a timely manner.
- Testing a varied and extensive range of multi-vendor ultrasound probes.
- Identifying high priority test items as managed by the priority test queues.
- To support the effective running of the Probo Medical storage area when relating to Ultrasound probes.
- Assisting with cosmetic repairs on probes to ensure products meet “healthcare standard quality control.”
- Accurately recording all issues with equipment to ensure stakeholders at all levels understand any technical issues.
- Achieving assigned personal objectives/targets.
- Maintaining good relationships and high customer satisfaction ratings.
- Completing required training and development objectives within assigned time frames.
- Supporting Workshop Supervisor and team members to deliver against all objectives, KPIs and SLA’s.

Experience
– Medical industry experience (desirable)
– At least 2 years’ experience working as a field or workshop test technician. (desirable)
Knowledge, Skills & Understanding
– Strong understanding of electronic systems, components, and related processes
– Excellent IT proficiency, including use of Microsoft Office applications
– Experience with service management software
– Ability to work at pace and under pressure at times to meet deadlines
– Capable of working on multiple different manufacturers equipment with various software interfaces
– Skilled in working with equipment from multiple manufacturers and navigating various software interfaces

Reporting to: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Summary: To support the effective running of the Probo Medical warehouses and customer/supplier supply chains. The role is responsible for ensuring that systems accurately reflect the products in stock, and they are readily available when required. This includes, data entry, taking deliveries, packing orders, maintaining records and moving/storing goods. The role also involves communicating with a range of people across the business to ensure that goods are shipped out to the correct place at the correct time. This role reports into the Warehouse Manager.
Key Accountabilities:
- To support and oversee the effective running of the Probo Medical warehouses and make sure that they are always kept clean and tidy in line with Health and Safety legislation.
- To support in ensuring that the stock control electronic systems are always kept up to date and accurately reflect the overall stock levels.
- To accurately book in goods arriving at Probo Medical using the relevant electronic system and allocate them to the correct person/location.
- To support the annual stock-take programme and report on progress to the Warehouse Manager.
- To prepare and package items being sent out to both engineers and customers.
- To produce delivery notes for these items and arrange collections with the relevant logistics companies.
- To deal with a range of stakeholders including logistics companies, engineers, commercial team members, service coordinators to achieve best outcomes for the business.
- To deal with telephone and email queries as they arise.
- To support with deliveries and collections of equipment as required.
- To move stock around the warehouses using the most effective tool for the task i.e., sack truck, pallet truck, lift truck.
- To undertake other duties related to the nature of the job and its level of responsibility.
