Job vacancy – Field Service Engineer (X-Ray)

Full time, Remote

We have an opportunity for an X-Ray Field Service Engineer to work remotely and predominantly in the South of the UK. The main purpose of the role is to support the successful implementation of planned maintenance visits alongside emergency callouts and repairs of equipment.  You will be liaising with a range of stakeholders to ensure that customer expectations are met, faults are quickly identified and rectified, and that system downtime is kept to a minimum. 

Our ideal candidate will possess relevant medical engineering experience with a good understanding of electronic systems and processes and will ideally possess experience of multi-modalities. You will be able to demonstrate a good track record of fault finding and diagnostic skills and will be confident in interpreting complex instructions and system manuals. We are looking for team players who can demonstrate a first-class approach to building and maintaining effective working relationships with customers and suppliers.

Job vacancy – Harvesting Technician

Full time, permanent, Gloucester based

We have a new opportunity for a Harvesting Technician to support the successful implementation of the stripping down of systems for parts, in line with the agreed procedure. You will be liaising with a range of internal stakeholders to ensure that high standards are maintained, all components are removed and preserved in excellent condition, unwanted parts are disposed of correctly and the CRM is updated accurately in a timely manner. The role also involves the completion of appropriate paperwork, ensuring that the calibration of test equipment belonging to Probo is maintained.

Our ideal candidate will possess recent and relevant engineering experience in the various modalities and across a range of different systems. Attention to detail is a key requirement alongside the ability to interpret complex instructions and system manuals. You will need to be methodical with your approach and confident in making logical decisions in a timely manner. We have a new position in our small Gloucester workshop for a technically motivated and quality influenced Engineer. Working on a varied range of high-end, high capital value ultrasound equipment, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment being processed is completed to the highest “healthcare standard quality control”. This pivotal role carries much responsibility, and you will be working closely with the Workshop Supervisor to provide “best in class” technical service delivery with quality at the centre of every task completed.

Our ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years relevant medical engineering experience with a good understanding of electronic systems and processes. You will possess experience on using service management software and will be confident in working at pace and under pressure to meet tight deadlines. We are looking for team players who can demonstrate a first-class approach to building and maintaining effective working relationships with various stakeholders at all levels across the business.

We have an opportunity for a Lead Engineer to join our busy Mechanical Services team based in Avonmouth, although the roe will be largely remote. The main purpose of the role is to lead on the successful delivery, deinstallation and installation of medical imaging equipment in line with agreed programmes and to customer requirements. You will be liaising with a range of stakeholders to ensure that customer expectations and requirements are met within agreed timescales.

Our ideal candidate will possess a relevant engineering/electrical qualification or equivalent experience and will have experience in leading and motivating a team. You will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of medical imaging systems and an understanding of relevant Health and Safety legislation. We are looking for team players with a positive can-do attitude and a flexible approach. A clean driving record is required for this role.
