About the Job:

To support the successful implementation of the stripping down of systems for parts, in line with the agreed procedure. The role involves liaising within the harvesting team to ensure that high standards are maintained. A successful candidate in this role would ensure all components/assemblies are removed and preserved in excellent condition; unwanted parts are disposed of in the correct waste streams and the CRM is updated accurately in a timely manner.

This is what we need you to do…

To support with the stripping down of systems for parts, in line with the agreed procedure
To ensure that parts are correctly labelled and in excellent condition.
To ensure harvested parts are packaged in an excellent condition suitable for the weight, size and shape.
To utilize documentation to identify accurate part numbers.
To maintain the CRM and ensure that information is kept up to date and accurate.
To adhere to manual handling and health & safety procedures.
To ensure that your working areas are maintained and remain clean and tidy.
To undertake other duties related to the nature of the job and its level of responsibility.
To ensure safe movement of stock around the company premises using the most effective equipment for the task i.e., sack truck, pallet truck, lift truck
To assist other areas of the business as required.

Monitoring and ongoing development of outcomes

As part of the annual appraisal, outcome-based targets will be developed in conjunction with the post holder and will supplement this job profile. The job profile will be subject to regular review and Probo reserves its right to amend or add to the accountabilities listed above.

The Postholder will have:

Experience

Building and maintaining productive relationships
Recent engineering experience in the relevant modality/modalities and across a range of different systems

Knowledge, Skills and Understanding

Excellent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office
The ability to interpret complex instructions and system manuals
Ability to make considered logical and rational decisions in a timely manner and communicate them clearly
Ability to manage expectations
The ability to work safely taking into consideration others around them
