Security Notice: Scammers Impersonating Mike Dilick, CEO

There is an ongoing email impersonation attempt of Probo Medical's CEO. Scammers are sending fraudulent emails that appear to come from Mike Dilick, Probo Medical's CEO, but do not originate from our official email domain probomedical.com

The emails are using domains that look like Probo, as well as gmail.com and other free email service addresses. The scammers have been targeting law firms and are contacting them with requests for legal services. These include requests to prepare sales contracts and handle sales through the closing purchases of ultrasound equipment. They have also contacted insurance companies looking to insure international shipments of equipment.

Please be aware:

  • Legitimate Probo Medical emails will always come from addresses ending in @probomedical.com
  • Any email that comes from a different domain, even if it looks similar, should be considered suspicious and potentially malicious
  • Do not click on links, download attachments, or respond to any email that appears unusual or does not come from our exact domain

Our IT team has been actively shutting down and reporting these spoofed email addresses to protect and prevent our customers from fraud. If you receive a suspicious message, please report it immediately by forwarding the email to [email protected] and then delete it. We take these threats seriously and are actively working with our IT and security teams to stop them. Your awareness and caution are key to helping prevent potential harm.

Thank you for your continued trust and vigilance.
