The key reason to buy the ARIETTA 65 is for the premium image quality and reasonable price, when compared to others in its category.
There’s a lot to like about the system for veterinary use… mainly ergonomics, speed, and image quality… but it’s the user interface that initially had us nervous about the ARIETTA 65.
You see, we typically do a lot of GE ultrasound machines, and we’re very accustomed to that user interface. The ARIETTA systems were a bit different and less intuitive when coming from the GE background.
That being said, it didn’t take long to learn how the ARIETTA works and how to get around the ARIETTA 65. So if you purchase one, it might take you a little time to get accustomed to the user interface. But once you “get it”, the system becomes much more intuitive and easy to use.
So, don’t let this one detail shadow the fact that this is an excellent image system at a great price. Learning a user interface can quickly be overcome, but poor image quality cannot.
